Fresh. Authentic. Made From Scratch.

Made in Italy is a casual, from scratch restaurant that will transport you to Italia the moment you step inside.

Our recipes have been handed down across generations and we can’t wait to share them with you. From true, authentic Neapolitan style pizza and handmade pastas to healthy salads, hot off the press sandwiches and seasonal specials, our ingredients are fresh, simple and full of flavor.

So, settle in with a bowl of pasta and a glass of your favorite imported wine, or grab a pizza on the run - either way, our relaxed yet refined space is the closest you’ll get to Italy without booking a flight.

Meet Our Team

Antonio Sessa

Executive Chef & Owner

Chef Antonio’s love for food transcends all culinary boundaries. Born and raised off the sun-soaked coast of Southern Italy, his early years were spent in the kitchen - using fresh, local ingredients to breathe fresh life into his family’s most treasured recipes. After earning a culinary degree and taking a position at a trattoria in Florence where he further mastered the art of food and exquisite customer service, Antonio made his way stateside - learning English and getting a bachelor’s degree before launching a successful career as a private chef to the stars. Made In Italy is a passion project years in the making, and he is thrilled to bring his most beloved recipes to life at your table.

Giana Barone

Head Chef & Partner

Daughter of a first-generation Italian immigrant, Chef Giana’s love for food blossomed as she grew up learning and experimenting in the kitchen alongside her father and grandmother. This long-standing passion for cooking led her to Le Cordon Bleu, where she earned a culinary degree before beginning a career that found her honing her craft in kitchens across the globe - including the same trattoria in Florence where Antonio got his start - and as a personal chef. Giana is passionate about seasonal ingredients and brings a fresh, California twist to traditional Italian cuisine.
